This morning for our staff devotions, we were blessed to hear the testimony of this weekends worship leader at The Cove, Robert Rogers. I met Robert a few years ago when we both served on a worship team for the Darlene Zschech seminar.
PLEASE, if you get a moment, go to his website and read his story. http://www.mightyintheland.com/. About 5 years ago Robert lost his wife and 4 children in a flash flood that swept over the interstate as they were traveling home from a wedding.
The joy and peace that presides in Roberts life as he shares his story is unfathomable. The only explination is God. The Lord has truly turned his 'mourning into dancing'.
Needless to say there was not a dry eye in the room. There were pictures and worship and scripture...truly a beautiful picture of what God can do if we remain IN him in all the storms of life that are thrown our way. He truly is a God of restoration.
Pray for Robert. His life vision is to fund 5 orphanages around the world; each one being named in honor of the 5 family members he lost.
Remeber today to always praise God IN your circumstances. To not turn your face from the Lord no matter where or what he takes you through. And most importantly remember today to take the time to tell your family that you love them.
